Having scratchy throat, running nose, and possibly slight fever, I'm awake at 4:15 AM...I miss New York City, especially the subway. I miss how the machines says "GO" everytime I swipe the card.

Nothing else. Just "GO".

The last part of my Two Years Plan for Senior Review goes as follows:

Other than my artistic practices, I’d also like to pursuit pleasure. I will enjoy all substances in life such as food, wine, music, travel, and exercise. Then, I will try to find the balance between devotion and pleasure as I continue to love and find new love.

Seriously, I need to stop having days when I completely indulge myself in fun followed by days when I only allow painting and working out. Balance. A Happy Balance is always a tricky thing.

I miss NYC too!

You are probably one of the most disciplined and hardest working art students I've ever met. Who else goes to studio on a consistent basis? It's alright to have fun sometimes...or maybe there should be a balance in terms that you allow painting, working out, AND fun. =)

I'm still huffy about missing the senior award show.

I have been meditating at home... lolz... give me a call or something. I don't think I can go out or travel anytime soon. Probably by the end of July... *sigh* So, have u decided which school you want to attend? Any plans for this break?

I think my eyes will be healed by the time you get back from NYC. Enjoy your time there. Congrats again on getting into the San Fran school... now I have a friend's place to crash when I go up North...muhaha. I love SF, went up there recently with Gary for his sister's graduation... I really enjoy the place and the density.

As for the roadtrip, I am not sure because my grandma had a stroke and her kidneys failed. After my eyes healed up, I might need to make the trip back to Taiwan sometime in August or Sept. It maybe the last time I'll be able to see her... if you know what I mean. Maybe a short road trip when you get back?

Give me a ring when you get back to LA. Take care of yourself in NYC, I know you'll have a good time there.
